Every
year we light candles as we prepare for the coming of Christ.
The first candle represents hope; we
light the second candle, the candle of love, and rejoice in the coming of our
Savior.
God’s love reaches to the heavens. How
priceless is his unfailing love. John 3: 16 says “For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life.”
Our God is the God of Hope and Love. Let
us love one another as He has taught us.
O God, help us abound in hope and let
us walk in love.
